About Us

Cindy
As a rancher by trade I have always enjoyed gardening, canning my own veggies, making salsa, raising our own chickens, and butchering our own organic beef. I also love to cook and have found that I can replace some of my dry herbs with essential oils in my favorite recipes.
My husband and I homeschooled our three children through high school and are now empty-nesters. Even though we no longer homeschool, I just can't seem to get away from the call on my heart to encourage other moms in this sometimes-overwhelming journey of educating their children at home while still running a household and maintaining sanity.
I was recently called "crunchy" by a friend at church. I have to admit, I didn't have a clue what that meant, so I Googled it and took a "Crunchy" quiz. Even though I do have a garden, can my own food, raise organic meat, use Norwex cloths and essential oils, I am not crunchy. In fact, I didn't even qualify as granola. I guess that just means I am a practical, common sense country gal.

I am an accidental crunchy mama, and I find myself becoming more crunchy every day. I started using young living when I was pregnant, to help with some of the typical pregnancy complaints. All it took was one use for me to become a believer in the effectiveness of essential oils. I cloth diaper, use amber teething jewelry on my son, co-sleep, breast feed, baby wear and we are doing baby lead weaning. Most of these I had no intention of doing until ...I did. Of course, like with everything, I researched (and researched, and researched...) the options and found what worked best for my family.
Being a wife and mom are my greatest joys in life. My husband works very hard so I can stay at home with our son. Being a WAHM has it's challenges, but I wouldn't trade this time with my child for anything.

I am a stay-at-home mom with two wonderful boys and a baby on the way. My second child is what got me started on this wonderful journey of using essential oils. At nine months, he was still not sleeping through the night and I had to get some sleep. That is when I heard about how using essential oils with children was safe and natural so I decided to give them a try. After just a couple of applications, my baby was sleeping through the night and I was sold! Now, almost a year later, I have found so many more uses for the oils and I would not trade them for anything. My boys, at three years old and eighteen months old, actually ask for the oils because even at a young age, they know they work.
I am a true country girl. I live in the middle of no-where, my closest neighbor is three miles, I love working in my garden and helping on the ranch. My boots and jeans are real, not drugstore versions and I can drive a stick with the best of them.
